Grade 12 Diploma

Asian International School has adopted International Advanced Level programme (A Level) offered by the Cambridge International Examinations as the qualifying examination for grade 12. A Level is one of the most widely recognised qualifying examinations for entry into higher education. More importantly, A Level programme enjoys the following advantages:

Good grades at A and AS Level can result in one full year of advanced standing or credit at universities in the USA and Canada

Good A and AS Level grades are vital for admission to all the world’s major English-speaking universities and many non-English-speaking universities

A and AS Level are rigorous programmes that encourage high academic standards

Cambridge International A Level examinations are usually taken over a two-year period after grade 10. AS/A Levels are highly specialised and a student will normally take three subjects, although occasionally exceptional students take four. The programme offers a flexible course of study that gives students the freedom to select subjects that are right for them.

The following are the subjects offered by the Asian International School for the A Levels Programme*:

English

Accounting
Business Studies
Environmental Management

Biology
Chemistry

AICE

Cambridge Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE) Diploma is a group ward for students who successfully complete a minimum required number of credits by studying a broad selection of international A and AS Level subjects. The subjects offered by the school are a judicious selection from the subjects offered by the AICE subject groups in order that its students get the opportunity to obtain AICE Diploma.
